The email read in part, '...how can you condemn Islam when in the West 400.000 babies are aborted each year? At least Muslims don't kill the unborn.” This is not the first time I have received such a missive. I find the argument and 'logic' very odd indeed. There are so many items which are wrong in justifying Islamic violence by highlighting the Western barbarity of abortion, that a list is necessary. Justifying 1400 years of Islamic Jihad, hate, racism, violence and 300 million dead, with the current destruction of unborn fetuses in Western countries legalized by the criminality of Roe v. Wade in 1973, is to put it mildly, rather immoderately insane. There are no connections between the two, because the two barbarisms – murdering fetuses and Islam – are part of the same problem.

What the email writer and those like her seem to conveniently forget is that abortion is a part of the New Leftism. It shares nothing in common with the greater trend of Western civilization and culture. In fact abortion is part of the program to destroy Western civilization. Like all Leftist theologies it is thus the ally of Islam – a moon cult ideology which has as its mainspring and vital force, nothing less than the complete destruction of the West.

Abortion is the most important plank in the Feminist platform. Sexual liberation comes from a radical Marxist culture, perfectly evinced in the narcissistic era of the 1960s, in which unfettered sex for the female was equated, incorrectly, to liberalized freedom. The creation of contraceptives gave women the illusion that promiscuity and sluttery made them the equal, if not the more powerful, of the two sexes. The cultural ethos that women should be free to engage in whatever activity they wish, runs counter to the majoritarian belief, encased in Judeo-Christian practices and even law, that there must be limits to sexual activity, and to sexual freedom. Diseases, unwanted pregnancies, broken families, man-hatred and psychologically ill women riven by self-hate; are only some of the more deleterious outcomes of the 'Feminist revolution'.

Abortion is thus a creation of extreme cultural Marxist and Feminism. Cultural Marxism [see here] is a program of Western immolation and destruction. Gramsci and the Frankfurt school, along with Russian Marxists and assorted civilization-haters; knew that the West could only be eradicated from within, through a complete perversion of cultural, education and the media. They are succeeding. Abortion is simply a poignant example of the power of cultural Marxism, as is the Feminist movement's ability to demonize and marginalize men, in the educational systems, media channels, and even in civil law.

Statism and statists support abortion for many reasons. It buys the vote of the feminists. It appears to be compassionate since 'studies' which are little more than lies, tell the peasantry that thousands of female lives are 'saved' thanks to the killing of the fetus. It allows the state to make apologies for its immigration policy since it can rightly highlight the paucity of native born babies. And it affords the state the 'right' to declare itself 'progressive' and 'tolerant' since it is catering to mass 'public opinion'. The fact that innocents are murdered is not important. As written before, the state loves the power that the abortion movement gives it – and this cultural Marxism has nothing in common with a true ethos of civilized conduct or morality [see here]:

The 1973 US court decision in Roe v Wade, which guaranteed a woman's right to abortion impacted the entire Western world. Every other modern country followed suit. The decision was based on the lie that 100.000 women each year in the US, were in peril from the birthing process. Without adequate facilities to abort fetuses which imperiled a woman's life; the woman had lost the right to her own body. Or so the feminist 'logic' went. It was of course a gigantic fallacy - one promoted by rabid and highly militarised feminist-Marxist elements.

Studies done during and after the Roe v Wade decision revealed that about 1.000 women per year were in physical danger from the birthing process – not the hysterical 100.000 that the Feminist-Marxist alliance had claimed. No one would argue that these women should not have the ability to protect their own lives and health from a potentially disastrous birth. But is abortion – state sanctioned and in many countries state funded – the only answer?

Of course not. In Canada pre-1969 a woman could get an abortion but only after consulting with 3 doctors.

Today it is abortion on demand. Women can have 2, 3, 5 or 10 abortions. This is the apogee of a sad society. Ignoring life and extolling death. This is very similar to the death cult of Islam. Death is honored and even rationalized. Infidels must be killed for Allah to prevail. Defenceless fetuses must be murdered so that women can be sexually free. The connection is the opposite of what the emailer made. Abortion and Islam have much in common. They are not attributes of different cultures, but characteristics of similar fascisms which hate life.

Abortion is the most vile and clear example of cultural Marxism and Feminism, abetted and funded by the state. Most Western nations use taxpayer money to fund the killing of unborn humans. This is murder. A fetus is a human – not a boat, not a cat, not a coat hanger. It is alive and the abortion procedure which is impersonal, process oriented and which ignores the rights of men involved [if the man wants to keep the child that is too bad, his opinion is discounted]; and which has no pre-or post-operation counseling is a travesty of the highest order.

Commentators like Mark Steyn discuss demography being destiny. There are some good arguments to support this supposition. Aborting your future is not very intelligent. It leads the state to create immigration quotas and patterns which make little sense to help alleviate the birth and manpower shortage. Over time your culture is distorted and then eventually wiped out. In order to unify the nation state, the government will create lies about multi-cultural diversity, tolerance and love, in order to sell the disastrous immigration program they have built up, and in order to cover-up the real issue – massive destruction of fetuses which has led to low birth rates. We then see this criminality compounded by high taxes, a high cost of living, and the financial hardships of raising children – almost all of which are caused by the state. To 'help out' the state then intervenes and provides socialized health care, dental care, and day-care – paid by ever higher taxes which must be increased every year to bail out these defunct and bankrupted programs.

The entire cycle is illogical.

The emailer does make one good point. What is the ethos of a culture which kills the unborn? Is it civilized, intelligent and progressive? Or is it just another example of the state of decline of the West from a culture which created the modern world and sanctified life, to one in which a cult of murder, enshrined in a culture of perpetual adolescence, and convenience, now exists? In that regard I see little difference between the mores of abortion, and the ideological impulses of Islam. Both demand death. Both hate the West.  Both are cults of irrationality, abetted by Western governments.
