Letters by a modern St. Ferdinand III about cults

Ann Coulter, a conservative pundit and best-selling author, was physically prevented from giving a speech at the University of Ottawa by a mob of what has to be termed Fascist-Marxists, some 2000 strong. The Leftists physically assaulted the location where the speech was to be given, chanting in a demonstrably violent way about 'free speech', 'peace and order' and 'stopping hate'. Apparently the irony of their actions contradicting their profanity suffused pieties escaped the mob. Much as with Islam, it is the intolerant fascist, the strutting brownshirt, the neo-Inquisitor, drunk on mindless poison, who proclaims their defense of free speech, open discourse and 'fair and reasonable' debates. That is if it is the 'right' speech, promulgating the 'right' ideas. If not you will be silenced. This is where human 'rights' commissions; 'hate speech laws'; and political correctness leads to – state enforced fascism, and goons pretending they are 'educated students'. Canada is becoming an embarassment.

Who is Ann Coulter ? [see www.anncoulter.org] She is many things and disagreeable to many people including 'conservatives' which as a label includes an impossibly long list of different beliefs, sects, theologies, and supporters. She is a lawyer; religious; believes in free markets; supports Jews and Israel; is color blind; views Islam for what it is – a pagan fascism; distrusts government; and is opposed to the Oprah-Obama-NBC-CBC cult. In other words she has much to offer in the world of writing and ideas.

I have read 3 of her 7 best selling books and found all of them informative, well sourced and witty. I don't agree with her on everything – why would I ? I have read every book by or about Winston Churchill and I certainly do not agree with all that is written about him, or even by him. But that does not mean that Winston Churchill, if he were still alive, should be denied the right to speak publicly, because I, a group, or a collection of mentally deformed Marxists at a second-rate University decide that Winnie 'offends some interests'.

Coulter was shut down, because her speech, and her words might promote 'hate'. One assumes that the Koran inspires hate – there is lots in there to motivate the Jihadi to kill, enslave, and plunder the infidel. Why isn't the Koran banned or those promoting it imprisoned ? I for one, believe that everyone should read the Koran to understand the pagan madness of the Arab moon cult. The more who read it, the less likely it is that Islam will be accepted as a 'religion'. But I have yet to encounter any person, killing, maiming, or engaging in 'hate crimes' because they have read one of Coulter's 7 best-selling books. No necks have been chopped and no planes flown into buildings because some toothless, hunched over white hill-billy read 'Godless'.

As Coulter relates – she was accused of future hate crimes by the second highest ranking official at the publicly funded, University of Ottawa – an admittedly second rate university - who sent her a letter warning her to be nice and follow PC fascistic governance:

The provost of the University of Ottawa, average student IQ: 0, wrote to me—widely disseminating his letter to at least a half-dozen intermediaries before it reached me—in advance of my visit in order to recommend that I familiarize myself with Canada's criminal laws regarding hate speech.

This marks the first time I've ever gotten hate mail for something I might do in the future.

Apparently Canadian law forbids "promoting hatred against any identifiable group," which the provost, Francois A. Houle advised me, "would not only be considered inappropriate, but could in fact lead to criminal charges."

I was given no specific examples of what words and phrases I couldn't use, but I take it I'm not supposed to say, "F----you, Francois."

While it was a relief to know that it is still permissible in Canada to promote hatred against unidentifiable groups, upon reading Francois' letter, I suddenly realized that I had just been the victim of a hate crime! And it was committed by Francois A. Houle (French for "Frank A. Hole").

What other speakers get a warning not to promote hatred? Did Francois A. Houle send a similarly worded letter to Israel-hater Omar Barghouti before he spoke last year at U of Ottawa? ("Ottawa": Indian for "Land of the Bed-Wetters.") http://townhall.com/columnists/AnnCoulter/2010/03/24/oh,_canada!

The Provost Houle passed his letter around. So the inevitable happened. The third rate Marxist and Fascist minds [yes Fascism is extreme Marxism and Statism], got together with the intent to shut down the speech. 2000 thugs attacked the hall on the night of Coulter's appearance, with one witless wonder pulling the fire alarm. Dozens of police were there but did nothing to disperse the mob, and the event was cancelled.

As one person who was there relates:

“After all, the University of Ottawa is a place of tolerance and academic freedom – except of course if you happen to be a conservative.  Then, you become a second class citizen in your own country where your right to be heard is drowned in screams and chants of “racism” and “homophobia”.  It doesn’t matter that this is a public institution, supported in part, by conservative tax dollars. .......

In his apology amidst shouts of “Shame!” and “François, François!” where he lambasted the barbaric treatment received by Ann Coulter and her audience at the soiled hands of the University Youths, Ezra Levant made this pithy comment:  “like a fish, the rot starts from the head down”.   Many people, including yours truly, left that place of “higher education” tonight, vowing  that Ann Coulter would return to the University of Ottawa one day soon to engage the University Youths, whether they like it or not.”http://www.socon.ca/or_bust/?p=5721

The irony of it. Fascists and Marxists denying the right of someone to give a speech using 'rights' as a cover. I doubt that these state subsidized morons were opposed to Ahmadinejad's Columbia University appearance. In fact they probably would have applauded it.

Mark Steyn makes the following observation about the obvious slide into irrelevance of the Canadian state:

2) The Ottawa Police have declared that there is no equality before the law. If you belong to certain groups, they'll stand by as the mob shuts you down.

3) The dinosaur media are vast lumbering eunuchs too cowed by political correctness to do even elementary research. Fatima Al Dhaher, the poor wee thing traumatized by Ann Coulter's camel joke, turns out to be a Jew-hater who wants to eliminate the State of Israel. When the state becomes involved in speech, 'rights' and redefining what can be said, printed, or even thought, the road to Fascist serfdom is clear. The Ottawa mob of unruly, third rate minds, and publicly funded Marxist dimwits, illustrates the poverty of Statism. The lessons which can be derived by the assault on Coulter are obvious:

1. There are too many Universities and too many programs, most of which are subsidized by the government, and most of which teach nothing which is intelligent or useful. Public funding of University – yet another 'right' – needs to be shut off.

2. Too many hacks, quacks and idiots parading as professors. The trade in 'ideas' and social engineering has to stop. No useful purpose is served by most of these people, who despoil young minds with Marxist mindlessness and the cancer of anti-reality intolerance.

3. The police have again been proven to be useless and pawns of the state. In the Canadian legal code, section 176 subsections 2 and 3, protect the right to peaceful assembly. Any mob attacking a group which is meeting lawfully and peaceably, should be jailed under the existing law.

Lastly it is clear the State is using students as Brownshirts to enforce politically correct Fascism or what I broadly call 'cultural Marxism'. The new Brownshirts are dressed up as 'students' but they are un-educated buffoons, full of indoctrination, hate, vile, and ignorance - all repackaged to defend 'peace and fair speech' for their political fascism of choice. Hitler used former ruffians, and military personnel to stock his Brownshirts under rather ironically a Queer - Rohm. Today's fascists use students, the media, and the police to violently coerce the suppression of the opposition or in the case of legal passivity, to ensure that thugs and intolerants are able to impose their will.

Hitler used the Brownshirts to eradicate the Communists in bloody street battles - both movements were both fighting over the same political space. Today, the enemy for the state, are Whites, Jews, Business, Conservatives and Christians. The enemies today are little different than those in bygone eras of Fascist intolerance and hate. The tactics have mutated but the targets and the objectives are the same.

Oh Canada ? Maybe it should be No Canada ! ? Or at least no to the Canada that has a long history of freedom, common sense and morality, not to mention the defence of free speech, thinking and cognition. Canada is being quickly remade from a state premised on the 1215 Magna Carta and the long history of democratic parliamentarianism, into a paler and stiffer imitation of modern Europe – all supported by the New Brownshirts and the neo-Fascism of state power and cultural Marxism.
