Paul Martin – Another Fraud

Why does he sweat when he talks ?

by StFerdIII

Paul Martin’s record, like his vocabulary is pretty limited. He is a gross disappointment as a man and as a leader, but in post-modern Canada, where men have no chests, and nothing matters, such limited leadership is to be expected. Mr. ‘clearly important’ Martin is no different than Mr. ‘corrupt’ Chretien his former boss, a sad mafia-like figure. Martin spent 7 years staging an internal revolt to kill off Chretien and assume power and now he reveals himself as no more than an extension of Chretien – a bad cartoon figure saddled by corruption, fraud and bad leadership.

Desperate to portray himself as a man of the people, Martin uses nation wide TV to appeal for time. Having no courage he does not do this in real time, but instead tapes the message. What kind of a man uses the national networks to plead for his job using a taped message? Conservative leader Harper said it best:

"We have all witnessed a sad spectacle -- a Prime Minister so burdened with corruption in his own party that he is unable to do his job and lead the country…Do Canadians really believe that the No. 2 man in a government now under a cloud of corruption is the person to clean up that mess today? Mr. Martin's speech tonight was not about saving this country. It was about saving the Liberal party."

Indeed. It is a sickening sight to listen to ‘Clearly’ Martin lie about the Lie-beral’s party corruption and his own role in it. Some highlights of ‘Clearly’ Martin’s role in this scandal:

  • Martin met with people involved in the current money laundering scandal in Quebec and knew of the program from the beginning, being not only Finance Minister but the man responsible for Quebec.
  • Martin applauded Chretien’s pathetic performance at the inquiry where Chretien mocked the entire process. Chretien and Martin both knew of this scandal [one amongst many] and both should be criminally prosecuted. Does Martin think it is cute to defame an important inquiry into corruption by applauding the mindless and criminally indictable Chretien ?

  • Martin called the last election three months before the Gomery inquiry held its first public hearing, over the objections of the opposition parties. Now listening to him plead for time to wait until the hearings are over, is rather humorous.

  • Martin closed the public accounts committee and allowed his Liberal MPs to blame the current scandal on Auditor General Sheila Fraser whom they said had exaggerated the corruption.

  • Martin still does not admit that the current scandal is gross corruption, only labeling it ‘a mess’. This is a lie. It is not a mess but money laundering and bribery on a grand scale that deserves criminal prosecution.

The Lie-berals and Martin are corrupt and that is clear. But this is not all. During the 90s Martin did not cut debt or taxes – taxes for example went up overall with business taxes replacing modest personal tax breaks. The Federal tax burden is higher now than ever and has increased in aggregate and as a % of GDP. Total debt in aggregate is also higher with only $3 billion being paid off over the past 5 years in which $75 billion in surpluses were accrued. Debt as a % of GDP has fallen only because Ontario and Alberta have grown their economies. This says nothing of the huge unfunded liability growth for pensions and health care now approaching a Trillion dollars. Martin’s record is unimpressive – he cut Federal deficits by imposing business taxes and reducing provincial transfers. He did not structurally alter the imbalance and over-taxation or the vast array or regulations that costs about 7-12 % of GDP annually for Canadian firms in compliance costs and surcharges. Besides that he has destroyed the military and domestic security agencies and engaged in an anti-US foreign policy illustrating the mindlessness of left-liberal politics.

So what will happen? Most likely Martin will win the next election and survive a few more years as
Canada’s ‘Dear Leader’. Ontario will re-elect the corrupt Liberals ensuring that Quebec and the West will prepare to either separate or at the very least reconfederate plunging the country into crisis. The Liberals have done a very good job at retail politics in Ontario – ie. bribing and buying votes through program spending promises, jobs promises and minority action programs. Ontario and Martin have ensured that Canada more than likely will not survive as a complete entity. The Chretien-Martin era of corruption, bad economics and adolescent foreign policy will force 2 outcomes -- Canada will either fracture or far less likely, undergo a massive restructuring and transformation of the Confederation. The second outcome is about as likely as either Chretien or Martin telling the truth about how corrupt the Lie-berals are. Expect the country to fracture.

When a one party state cannot reform itself – a revolution is in order and failing that there comes a time to break apart the unnatural state of
Canada.
