Destroying the Nation State and the modern world – one green step at a time.

Immoral, impracticable, and evil.

by StFerdIII

There is no precedence in history for the plans now in train to cede ever more sovereignty by the nation state to the corruptocracy of the United Nations – one little Mother Earth step at a time. Every single developed nation state is now rife with leaders who for various reasons, deem it politically expedient to hand over national autonomy to one of the most dangerous, anti-Western, anti-reality and Marxist organizations in history. Mother Earth, climate change, Globaloney Warming, the children's future – all used as excuses, impetus, or moral factors in transferring the power over national processes, laws, and industrialization, to an unelected, unaccountable and entirely nefarious mafia. These politicians and their abettors should be in jail – for treason, for breaking the constitution and for being stupid.

The nation state has many flaws. But the liberals, socialists, and internationalists who hate capitalism, capital, markets and individual choice are wrong about one of its supposedly chief demerits. The nation state is not an impediment to international cooperation. In fact it is the only rational, and moral organization, in which differing states, tribes and cultures can interact. It is also the only form of protection for the same. Without a stable, strong and legal state, there is anarchy [see Africa]. Without the state, there would be totalitarianism either somewhat benign [see Europe]; or one more prone to violence [see the Chinese empire].

In the utopian world of the communist-globalist, people such as Bill Clinton chatter airily on about the post-modern future of mankind, a federation not of states but just of people. For Clinton and other near-billionaires such intellectual trash presents itself easily in speeches, and on the media rubber chicken circuit, where any passing reference to hating America, markets, or the amoral system of capital accumulation is applauded. But Clinton and the Globalists who include the UN autocracy, Maurice Strong, the carbon Fascists such as L Ron Gore, or the Globaloney Warming cultists; are entirely mistaken.

The modern world political-economy was only created through the competitive system of states where four factors were allowed to interact:

  1. Economic competition which forces states to impose reasonable laws, taxes and regulation.

  2. The maintenance of private property and wealth accretion where the individual, including legally incorporated firms and stock structures, can manufacture and keep profits.

  3. Military and domestic police strength where peace, stability and order could in some way be guaranteed which should – all things considered – spur risk taking, innovation and cultural advancement. Without peace, social and economic progress is difficult.

  4. The creation of a local culture which satisfies local tastes. This is significant. There is no global culture, just like there is no global climate. One doubts very much that Slavs want to live as Chinese, or Indians as Peruvians.

These are simply black and white facts. The rise of Europe to dominate the world can be seen in the nexus of the above four factors. Without nation state competition and the ability of states to protect their populations from international predators and domestic malcontents, the modern world would never have been created. Without the ability to adapt Judeo-Christian ideals to local cultural tastes and attitudes, the variegated and powerful forces which allowed local states to excel, never would have taken place. Far from abetting war, the nation state is the only guarantor against anarchic war. There is no credible argument which can deny this.

The entire corpus of Western achievement – the Medieval economic and agricultural revolution; the invention of modern accounting and management; the rational Enlightenment; the Renaissance; industrial 'Fordism'; and the knowledge explosion; are only possible within a competitive nation state structure. War is alas, as Churchill rightly commented, 'the natural preoccupation of mankind'. Only the strength of the nation state allows populations, cultures and innovation to survive and thrive.

This then highlights the main problem with the Globalist agenda. Premised on a cult of irrationality the UN, Bill Clinton, Maurice Strong, and the servants of Mother Earth, are proposing what doesn't work and which never would have allowed them to exist or to make money – namely the eradication of the nation state and the imposition of impersonal transnational governance. None of it makes any sense.

What purpose does it serve to transfer to the UN control over your energy processes and means of production ? Will all states do so equally ? How does one manage all the nation states involved so everything is the same everywhere and fair ? Will it stop war ? Will the new Globalism stop Islamic Fascism or the Arab murder of Jews ? Does castrating the modern world really help the children's future ? Will the climate actually benefit if you delimit industrial activity ? What about national laws and constitutions ? Are they relevant ?

There is no deep thinking in the process of Globalism. It is just fantasy and convenient speech making. Clinton et al can't answer even the most basic questions about Globalism. There is no serious consideration about what it will do to the nation state, its population or to the modern world political – economy. The world would be inherently far worse off under Globalism, than it is today. There would actually be more war; more environmental destruction; more poverty and more death. Only the nation state and its unique actor-will, in which it can act, form alliances or do what it deems necessary, prevents anarchy.

International institutions do have a limited role to play in the world's political-economy. The key word is limited. They can never, and should never, transcend local laws and constitutions. Only the nation state can protect property, rights and freedom.

The UN is no protector of rights and democracy. It is a Marxist cabal controlled by the Third World and driven by the Arab-Muslim bloc. It has no claim to higher morality or efficacy [see the $100 billion Iraqi Oil for Food scam for more detail]. Transnational agreements in the areas of military, trade, and human rights protection do make sense. What does not make sense is destroying the very structure of progress in the name of an irrational eco-cult dedicated to world domination.

Yet that is what we are now facing – one slow greenist step at a time. Making the state inconsequential. It is utter madness.
