End Lebanese terror.
Lebanon is a terror state - don't let the State department make up policy
by StFerdIII
Can someone tell the Bush administration, the US State department and Rice that you don’t win wars with vapid allusions to ‘two state solutions’ and ‘cease-fires’. You win wars by defeating the enemy with the use of unmistakable and unwavering force. The enemy in Lebanon, Palestine and beyond, is rather obvious – it is Arab intolerance and fascist Islam. How can anyone living in the real world fail to miss that? The US State department has always proven itself to be of little use when the diplomatic chatter subsides and reality intrudes. Now we have Rice philosophizing about root causes, justified grievances and peaceful settlements and calling for recognition of Arab 'concerns' with Israel. Put a cork in it already Dr. Rice. We need hard talk, firmer action and victory, not moral equivalency and Euro-induced hypocrisy and Rice’s sugar bread view of the world. As that old war monger Mr. Churchill would say, now is not the time for jaw-jaw, but war-war.
Rice and the State department are craven and have historically been against policies that promote freedom through strength and military conflict. Regarding the current crisis they have already caved into the chattering biased liberal media; Jewish anti-reality and anti-war groups who protest Israel; the voluminous and spiteful Western based Arab population; and our good friend the useless United Nations, all of whom are demanding a cease fire. Not to mention the feminine and morally corrupt Western citizens of convenience who live in Lebanon and then demand a plane ride home when the local weather turns nasty, all the while complaining about Israeli induced ‘genocide’ and unrestrained bombing. Here is an idea for Rice and the convenient citizens of the world. Let’s replace the happy talk with reality: let Israel take over southern Lebanon and let NATO occupy the rest. The ‘foreign’ troops will only go home after Hezbollah is demolished; Arab jihadists are killed and Iranian and Syrian meddling is stopped.
Once the above is accomplished then the Lebanese people can have an election and elect a non-terrorist state into existence. If they make the wrong choice and elect terrorists than the occupying powers will stay until the Lebanese get the idea that we don’t like Islamic and Arab terrorist regimes. The United Nations can pack up during this process anytime they want. None of their useless 2000 troops in 6 years, has done anything to stop Hezbollah’s yearly attack on Israel. Their platitudes do nothing to end Arab hate and terror and do everything to turn world opinion against a democratic and liberal state.
The root cause of this war and with past Israeli-Arab conflicts is simple – it is Arab and Islamic intolerance, hate and terror. The swaggering arrogance of Arabs coupled with a fatalistic ideology of fascist hate means war. It is that simple. The Arabs have no intention of peaceful settlements, joyous communal existence or rational divisions of land. They want the obliteration of Israel, the conversion or death of non-Muslims and more oil money to attack Western and US assets further afield. When fascists scream that they want to cut off your head and destroy your society it is probably a good idea to take them seriously. This is especially true when the fascists, namely Iran, might have a nuclear weapon.
Rice and her minions at the State department should read some history. We have been here before – it is déjà vu Lebanese style. The Israeli’s backpedaled out of Lebanon from 1982 to 2000 only to be congratulated with Russian and Iranian supplied rockets and cross border attacks during and after that period. The useless United Nations and the ‘Riceians’ did nothing to alleviate Lebanese and Hezbollah attacks on a outpost of Western civilization. Yet we must suffer their sanctimonious diplomatic double talk and again applaud solutions of appeasement.
Since the last Israeli capitulation in Lebanon in 2000 about 1000 rockets each year have blanketed northern Israeli towns demolishing everything from private homes, to roads, to hospitals. Yet we don’t see aggrieved Arabs and ‘Jews for peace’ groups protesting the Lebanese and Iranian consulates in Western cities screaming that the carnage and murder must stop. We heard nothing from the media on the literally thousands of dead Israelis that have been murdered by Hamas, the PLA, and Hezbollah in the past 20 years. Yet now we must drop our tools of everyday work and gape in amazement at the defiling of a ‘sovereign’ Lebanon as its poor, innocent, terror supporting population suffers collateral damage. Sorry I can’t too worked up about dead ‘innocents’ in a terror state.
It defies reason and even imagination to suppose that the Western media is so ignorant as to portray the Jews as the voracious land grabbers, when it has been Israel giving up strategic land positions in exchange for rockets and death. Not a good deal one could say. It is pretty clear how the conflict needs to end. It needs to end with Lebanon under Western control; Hezbollah completely demolished, and the borders with Syria sealed off. These are the conditions that the Riceians and their effeminate UN acolytes need to discuss. Not finishing the job is immoral, myopic and deflects the real reason for this war – Arab intolerance and Islamic fascist aggression. In such a conflict terror states like Lebanon that aid the fascists and terrorists are not innocent and neither are their civilians.
