The Media and Elite fascination with Socialist and Utopian theories

A long and sordid history of ignorance and appeasement

by StFerdIII

Ambivalence towards fascism by the Western media and its political elite has a long history. Communism and National-Socialism were dismissed by the Western media and associated political analysts as being simply programs of national rejuvenation. Hitler was applauded as the greatest leader in German history by much of the Western press. Stalin was likewise commended for his efforts to modernize a poor and backwards nation. The dark side of an open liberal society is the enraptured attention that programs of annihilation, utopianism, and anti-Westernism receive by reporters, academics and elites who think, in self absorbed arrogance, that they are super-men, Nietzschean creations of god-like power, who will shape the world to their distorted view of how society should be constructed. These self appointed gods conveniently ignore systemic processes, reality and the long journey from paganism to civilization that has informed man’s struggle against nature, death, ignorance and poverty. The media’s fascination with defending Islam is indicative of this sad, sorry trend.

For the past 40 years in spite of overwhelming evidence, there is nary a tear shed in the mass Western media about the victims of Islamic fascist aggression. In Algeria 150.000 non-Muslims have been killed in the past 10 years. In the past 20 years there have been two million ‘darker skinned’ Muslims and non-Muslims liquidated in the Sudan by a fascist Islamic theocracy. Tens of thousands of innocent Orthodox believers have been destroyed by the Russians and their Islamic rebel opponents in Chechnya. Hundreds of thousands more non-Muslims have been killed or tortured in China, Cyprus, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, East Timor, North Korea, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and during Hussein’s rule, in Iraq. This says nothing of the 5 wars and various intifada’s and terrorist atrocities committed against Israel and modern democratic states and citizens the world over. Islamic fascistic and ideologically inspired atrocities elicit barely a mention in the mainstream Western media.

The Western media with its anti-Jewish, anti-American bias does however repeat ad-nausea stories on the dastardly Jews building apartment blocs in the West bank; why Sharon is a war criminal [and soon his successor Ohlmert]; why Chile’s Pinochet should be condemned to death; or the travails of the crusading Americans abusing a handful of prisoners in Iraq or in Cuba. They say almost nothing of the mass murders taking place at the hands of fascist and Islamic regimes, much as they ignored the 30 million dead under Stalin’s brutal fascist regime. The destruction in one generation of literally millions of lives elicits yawns from most politicians and liberal media pundits with the usual demands for more international dialogue, understanding terrorist or Arab ‘pain’ and endless recitation of academic nonsense on root causes in which low self esteem, Israel, US imperialism [while ignoring massive US aid given to Islamic countries and the 14 wars fought by the US for various Muslims] and poverty cause Islamic terror.

Poverty has nothing to do with terror or with crime for that matter. Yet the uncomprehending and dull ‘mass’ is told to listen to the chattering elites and believe their stories. What the mass is not told is that statism, criminal regimes, failed cultures and ideologies of terror cause poverty and war. Liberal trade, freedom, institutional checks and balances and respect for the individual will engender peace. This is a historical fact that the media and its acculturated arrogant elitist allies refuses to acknowledge. It is the creation of fascist societies, fascist ideologies, combined with ignorance, hate, envy, failed policies, brain-washing, violent Mullahs and corruption which are the root causes of Islamic terror. It is not very intelligent to highlight Marxian dialectics and exogenous factors as explanations and ‘root’ causal factors of millennia old Arab-Islamic violence and extremism. How then to explain the 1380 year Arab-Islamic jihad which has killed, exiled or enslaved hundreds of millions? The media and their ignorant elitist quacks rarely state such historical truisms. Politically correct opinion offered by smiling, toothy politicians, well groomed media experts, and the liberal-UN jet set chattering elite is not only insipid but dangerous.

Fascism is real, animated and like a virus can mutate and take different forms to kill its host. After all it did not take long for Stalinism to kill 30 million Russians and non-Russians, Hitlerism to exterminate 6 million Jews, and Maoism to erase 30 million Chinese. This says nothing of the historical record of Islam in which millions of Hindu’s, Jews, Christians, Buddhists and Animists have been butchered. Ein reich, ein volk, ein fuehrer, [one state, one people, one leader], is a pithy description of all of these ideologies. It is a mistake and an act of irrational stupidity to assume that fascism either does not exist today, and that it will not rise again tomorrow. Military tyranny, oriental despotism and fascist repression have been the common organizational principles of human society. Western civilization is a historical late comer to the game of societal organization.

For the above reasons it is clear that the century long addiction by the media and professorial class of absurd superman, utopian, universalist, eco-cult, and one-world-order theories is as grave a danger to our world dominance and our civilisational existence as the mad ramblings of hundreds of millions of Muslims chanting support for a pagan Arabian moon cult. The organization of western nation states is the only logical construct to advance the cause of mankind. Socialism, fascism, utopianism and other forms of cult worship are the manifestations of an age old evil that has afflicted human development. Not understanding this base historical fact is a pernicious and evil trait of the media and the opining self appointed and quite self-absorbed elite.
