More proof of GlobaloneyWarming. The worst winters in 70 years in Russia and in 43 years in China and over 200 dead in India due to a 'cold snap'. Can't wait to hear the explanation for the portents of a coming ice age [all due to warming of course]. Oh wait we already have it – melting ice caps etc. creating cold air fronts.....Good Lord. Stupidity married with mendacity. This is 'science'.

The administration says the temperatures are dropping partly because of south-moving polar cold fronts, caused by melting polar ice from global warming. It adds the air is moist and likely to dump heavy snow in China, Europe and North America.

I thought it was the tooth fairy waving her magic 'cold wand' causing all the fuss.

Sorry ladies, the Arctic is not melting – it is growing.

Thegreen curve is the average over time, the blue line is the melt point and the red line is the actual temperature, plotted daily over the course of a year. Each frame of animation equals one year. As you can see the temperature does fluctuate but there is clearly no significant general rise in temperature and the portion of the red curve poking above the blue line (i.e. the period when ice would melt) is clearly not growing.”

The Western media of course yawns and ignores the hundreds of ice and snow records set every year in the past decade. Such a portent of a coming ice age does not fit in with their irrational theories about killing humans to reduce the trace chemical Co2, to save little Gaia [humans are scratching the surface of the planet, the deepest mine is but ½ a mile deep, the earth's crust 3-10 miles thick on average....]. But no worries. January 2013 will be declared the 'warmest' January in 4.6 billion years, pace the human hating eco-Marxists and their lying data models [which are not available for peer review]. This very second is the warmest second ever, not to be outdone by the succeeding second.

The coldest-ever December in Russia led to the evacuation of hundreds of people in Siberia, where temperatures fell below -50 degrees Celsius; Moscow also saw its coldest night ever for the season. More than 90 Russians died during the cold snap, and more than 600 people were taken to hospital due to the extremely dangerous weather, which is 10 degrees below the December norm.

Nearly 200 people have died throughout Russia as a direct result of weather-related accidents and hypothermia this season, according to official statistics, although the extreme conditions have likely contributed to many more fatalities.”

Northeast China coldest in 43 years

The average temperature in northeast China dipped to -4.5 degrees F, the coldest in 43 years, and dropped to a 42-year low of -18.7 degrees F in northern China.

'Cold snap' kills 200 in India...

The Times of India reported:

Kanpur and Agra shivered at a low of 1.1 and 1.0 degree below the freezing point as the mercury plunged to sub-zero levels across north India and killed 24 people in Uttar Pradesh since Monday. This mounted the dead toll from the cold snap this season to over 200.”

Plenty of dead in China as well. None of this will be reported by 'news' agencies. Just more lurid tales of GlobaloneyWarming. Now that is science.
