One has to wonder about the The Church of the Holy Evolution. Evolution, like GlobaloneyWarming, is a 'fact'. But is the Church of Holy Evolution, whose dogma is taught as indisputable 'science' is wrong ? Where will Marxists and Atheists go to pray ? [The Church of the Holy Narcissist]. For 150 years many scientists, geologists, paleontologists have written that 'slow, gradual, perfect' development is complete bunk and junk. Even Darwin was 'perplexed' by mass extinctions and appearances of flora and fauna – all fully developed when they appeared. This book by Felix is a good overview from those why 'deny' the dogma of the Church of the Holy Evolution. And there is plenty to deny.
“What time is there for evolution when the only thing that separates the new fossils from the old is a thin layer of clay? A half-inch thick layer of clay could be deposited in a matters of months. Or days.” [p. 35]
Evolution is certainly over-rated. Of course individuals and species adapt to their environment. But they hardly evolve. Human DNA and RNA has not changed in 200.000 years. DNA itself militates against evolution. How does a shark, or a human, which appear fully formed, 'evolve' their DNA ? Please present details.
“Sharks appeared suddenly, and the first amphibian Icythyostega, crawled out of the water and onto the land. Sharks pose a problem for Darwinian believers. Today's sharks are almost identical to those of 370 million years ago.” [p. 25]
The Church of the Holy Evolution is good at denying facts. In the earth's history, flora and fauna species appear fully developed, are wiped out [or about 70% are]; and new forms reappear quite rapidly, fully formed. There is no evolution of the 'species'.
“After yet another mass extinction about 37 million years ago, gorillas, chimpanzees, and monkeys swung into view; hens and rabbits suddenly appeared; and giant ground sloths bigger than an elephant lumbered into the picture. Pigs, bears, and the first true dogs and cats elbowed their way into the ranks, along with a giant no-horned rhinoceros standing two stories tall at the shoulder. They all arrived suddenly, and with no similarity to the animals they replaced.” [p. 35]
Sure the Church of the Holy Evolution can explain the above.
For those interested in science, real climactic events [not the apocrypha inspired by your SUV], massive, sudden and catastrophic change, then read this book. It is short, easy to read, informative, and eye-opening.
As Felix proves, the earth's climate and development has never been a smooth process, inured to change, 'evolving' towards the 'sunlit uplands' of perfection. The earth has a violent, catastrophic, unpredictable and ruthless nature in its unfolding story. Why? Magnetic pole reversals which destroy 70% of animal and plant life and which recur with regularity.
“And where did flowers come from ? Angiosperms appeared immediately following the end-Jurassic...And yet, flowering plants had never existed on the face of the earth. (Poor Darwin. This one had him buffaloed. He considered the sudden arrival of the angiosperms an 'abominable mystery.'). [p. 30]
“Then disaster struck yet again, with more than seventy percent of all sea-dwelling animals going extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period.” [p. 31]
Dinosaurs were not wiped out by a meteor, but by something more sinister – the fiery destruction of all carbon life on the planet.
“Plant pollen and spores disappeared so rapidly at the K-T boundary [end of the Dinosaurs' era 65 million years ago], said Robert Tschudy of the U.S. Geological Survey, that 'we can envision the forest dead in less than a year's time. The catastrophic change, Tschudy said, compares to the scenario after a volcanic eruption...” [p. 41]
Another clue around real 'climate change' that Felix details, is the presence of Carbon:
“Carbon-laced black shales are found at the end of several geologic periods including the Cambrian, the Permian, the Silurian, the Ordovician, the Devonian, and the Late Triassic....There is so much carbon in the boundary clays....that more than ninety percent of all vegetation on earth, and many millions of animals, must have burned as raging forest fires engulfed the planet.” [p. 44]
Iridium, Strontium and Berylium – all radioactive substances carried in 'star dust', litter the same geological record. Why is the paleontological record inundated with carbon and radioactive chemicals ?
“Our magnetic field (the magnetosphere) shields us from the charged particles in the solar winds, said Uffen, of Canada's University of Western Ontario. During a geo-magnetic reversal, cosmic radiation would bombard our planet, leading to mutation or death.” [p. 48]
The North Pole wanders. I remember reading that at one time it was situated [circa 300 million years ago] in Ecuador. If the North Pole migrates, it makes sense that the magnetic field is affected, and that carbon, radioactive material and solar bombardment would immediately, and violently, upset the earth's climate and all of its living creatures. How else to explain the massive, inexhaustible [another 1000 years is the world's supply] of oil, natural gas, and carbon based 'fuels' we have ? [hint: it has nothing to do with flora and fauna dying in 'swamps' and being pressed by subsequent 'evolving' sedimentary layers – what a nonsense].
“Is it just a coincidence that Homo Sapiens neanderthalis suddenly appeared about 115.000 years ago, at the Blake magnetic reversal ? Or that the Neandarthal suddenly disappeared about 34.000 years ago at the Lake Mungo reversal ?” [p. 73]
No the appearance of Homo sapiens is not a coincidence.
Magnetic reversals usually lead not only to the death of existing life forms; but the creation of new ones; unrelated in many ways to those who preceded them. They are also connected to fire, volcanic activity and to ice ages. These reversals appear to be in a regular, cyclical pattern -recurring every 11.500 years or so. This is the date today, from the last ice age. Is a new one ready to start initiated by a magnetic reversal or 'wandering' ?
Today of course the 'wandering' of the North Pole would be blamed on a trace chemical, 3/100 of 1 % of atmospheric gases [this cult belief is now called 'science']. North Pole peregrinations have nothing whatsoever to do with trace chemicals or Co2. They global events culminating in genocide and species-cide. Will it happen again ?
Felix owns the anti-Warm site www.iceagenow.info which posts world-wide snow, ice, cold and other phenomenon that the 'news' organizations somehow miss and do not report upon. Imagine that.
