Make the average person defenceless. That has always been a main motivation of socialism and Marxism. A disarmed person or community is much easier to socialize and coerce. Removing legitimate methods of self-defense ensures compliance and docility. When the state owns the only means to coercion, you are not free, but a simple slaving peasant – living at the mercy of those who wield power. When you can't defend yourself against marauders without the state charging you for assault, it gets even worse. You have acceded to the creation of an anti-reality world, distorted by the state, and used by the state in the form of legal and psychological coercion.

Lenin's first command to Stalin in 1921, after the Red Communists had defeated the White 'Liberals' in the bloody Russian civil war, was to disarm the population. This proved rather effective as the history of Communist pagan violence over 70 years showed. Despotic states and a desperate elite will not suffer opposition. In Russia post-1921 the imposition of unfettered and monopolistic state power was easy. 150 million Russians were divorced from any means of protection and only the state had recourse to violence. The moral is simple and clear; no guns, entails no self-defense, and a feeble ability to resist the power of the state, if and when it decides to destroy freedoms or the right to private property. And the 'it can't happen here' argument is rather specious. I am sure that Russians in 1916, Germans in 1933, Cubans in 1950, Lebanese in 1970, or Jews living in Malmo Sweden in 2009 all thought that 'it won't happen here'. Well it did.

Disarming the population is always followed up by endless propaganda. Gun owners are usually portrayed in modern times as toothless White idiots, who whine about the ending of slavery, and who can't wait to shoot a darker skinned 'immigrant', or a raccoon from the back of their red pick up truck as it bounces along a pot-holed lane. Gun crime statistics are invented to show that crime is higher in gun owning countries [it isn't]. Gun control laws and useless registries costing tens of millions if not hundred of millions are set up, usually with gun – related crime going up not down [which is what has happened in the UK, Canada and Australia].

Disarm the peasants and then indoctrinate them with absurdities.

The US is always criticized for its gun crime. But what is not told is that Blacks commit 2/3 of all gun crime and a similar percentage of all violent crime. A lot of this violence is Black on Black as well. But increasingly Black violence is directed against whites and women. In “The Color of Crime: Race, Crime and Justice in America,”(New Century Foundation in 2005), the authors use FBI data to produce some unsettling facts about Black gun crime:

* “Blacks commit more violent crime against whites than against other blacks.” Forty-five percent of the victims of violent crime by blacks are white, 43 percent are black, 10 percent are Hispanic.

* Blacks are seven times as likely as people of other races to commit murder, eight times more likely to commit robbery and three times more likely to use a gun in a crime.

* “Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit violent crime against a white person than vice-versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.”

* Black-on-white rape is 115 times more common than the reverse.

But of course whites are the real racists – or so we are told.

In the 1/3 of US gun crime which is not Black related, Central American and Mexican gangs play prominent roles. Bible reading whites are no more prone to homicidal activities than the average gun owning white Canadian or European. In fact when you normalize for Black and Hispanic gun violence, white based gun crime is similar or lower to European, Canadian and Israeli gun crime.

• Black people are 9 times more likely than white people to be victims of gun related homicide (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2006)

• Firearm violence for blacks age 12 or older was: 40% higher than the rates for Hispanics, 200% higher than the rates for whites. (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2006)

• 1999- 2006 Black people were 54% of the victims of firearm homicide but only 12% of the population. (Bureau of Justice Statistics, 2006)

Black culture and increasingly Hispanic gang violence are thus the biggest determinants in the US, of gun crime and related problems. Gun crime is mainly and almost exclusively a cultural issue. You can do the math. If you remove the homicides committed each year by Blacks and normalize the numbers based on population [Blacks are only 13% of the total US population], one can extrapolate that the real US homicide rate is really 2.6/100,000, which is lower than Germany (3.27) and France (3.91). But of course to point out this obvious reality is to be a 'racist'. Name calling might be emotionally satisfying but it does not disavow reality.

These simple facts easily obtainable to anyone who bothers to do some basic research. Some of the safest places in the world are white urban centers in the US with a high gun possession rate. Some of the worst places in the Western world for crime are the urban areas of Europe – the supposed bastion of socialist peace. Petty crime, car theft, break-ins, and car burnings [a national sport for Arabs in France]; are rampant in the socialist states and far more prevalent than in the US.

Interpol crime statistics dispel the myth that disarming the peasantry leads to a life of quiet, calm, meditative reflection and Buddhist inspired mysticism. It just channels the energies of crime from guns to other forms of violence. Interpol 1995 and 2009 crime statistics (rate per 100,000):

• USA: From 5278 to 4161

• Germany: From 8179 to 7736

• France: From 6316 to 6941

• England and Wales: From 7206 to 9927

Apparently total crime is declining in the US and increasing in Europe.

Gun ownership does not lead to crime. It is the culture which allows guns to be used as tools of crime. If you remove a gun from a violent person or a criminal they will simply find another method or tool to use. The mentality to use force or brutality is cultural and personal. Disarming all people, because a subset of the population is prone to some form of crime, is about as sensible as removing all sharp knives from every house, because some toddlers have injured themselves.

Gun control is one of those defining issues which will shape your society.  Do you believe that you are free, independent and strong ?  Or is the state your savior, and protector ? The statists, Marxists and elitist power mongers will invent lies and myths to convince the average knave that gun ownership is immoral and a threat to the children's future, or peace in the kingdom. The real threat of course is unfettered state power or someone or a group thieving your hard earned assets. 'It can't happen here' is a weak argument when one views state coercion in modern history or the level of petty and violent crime in areas that ban gun ownership. When a desperate state needs money, property or assets, you might be amazed at how ruthless it will become and how utterly helpless you are to defend yourself. When desperate people feel entitled to steal your private property, or threaten your family, you might have wished that guns were part of the culture, not outside of it, that you knew from which end of a barrel the bullet exited.
