It is a myth that Christians, Churches or even the much-loathed 'Evangelical' are 'right-wing' or 'conservative' – whatever exactly those terms might mean. Most Churches preach the opposite of what orthodox Conservatism – itself built upon Judeo-Christian ideals, teaches. The Church has been taken over by the zealots of socialist, communalist and internationalist ideology. By allowing its core message to be so distorted, the church as guaranteed not only its irrelevance but its eventual self-destruction.

The Church – a broad category covering dozens of sects – is a pale image of what it once stood for. The key messaging of the Church has been lost. It is simply a fact that the modern Western world would not exist, without the teachings of the Jews and early Christians. The entire moral ethos of our world is based on Judeo Christian concepts. The Book of Matthew for example and the Golden Rule is the highest form of ethical teaching, matched only by Zen Buddhist idealism. Ideas about justice, equality, individual worth, aiding the poor, private property and natural law rights which ensure that the person is not the slave of any temporal ruler, all come from the JC tradition.

Even taking into account the infractions, evils and oppression of many Church structures throughout history the benefits of JC culture cannot be contested. There is a reason why the Western world is rich and Islam is not. There is a reason why slavery was destroyed by the Americans and British Navy and still flourishes in parts of Asia, Africa, Islam and Brazil. There is a reason why the Church's capital investment in the medieval European economy allowed Europeans to overtake in technology, wealth and innovation their geo-competitors. JC ideology was fundamental in the development of our modern world at every level in society, morality, and the political-economy.

And yet where is the Church today ?

Is it pro-capital ? No

Is it pro-America ? Outside of the US southern bible belt, No.

Is it pro-market ? No

Is it standing up for natural law rights ? No

Does the church support Israel, and persecuted Christians in Islamic states ? No

Does the church support the individual against the powers of the state ? No

Does the church engage in historical rewriting, blaming Whites, Jews and Europeans for the ills of the world ? Most certainly.

The 'Church' broad as that term is, is now part of the problem. The Church has unified itself with statist ideology.

Syndicated Pastor, columnist and Talk Radio host Reverend Chuck Baldwin states it perfectly:

“America's Christian heritage is both rich and deep. What most historians and educators refuse to acknowledge, our forebears understood clearly: it was mostly Christians and churches that formed and shaped the new land that became known as the United States of America.

It is no hyperbole to say that without the influence, sacrifice, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears of America's early Christians, this country would not exist.
......
But what do we see today? We see pastors and church congregations who are, for the most part, totally ignorant of their own heritage and history. They have little or no understanding of the principles of Natural Law--something America's founders knew almost by second nature (no pun intended). They seem to know next to nothing of the Biblical principles of liberty and government.”

How is it that America and other Western states are so mis-educated that the mass does not even know its own real history, and the contribution that the Church has made to shaping a better world ? How is it that the Church itself does not even understand its own role in society ? Why are churches preaching non core theories and irrelevancies such globaloney warming nonsense; boycotting Israel; hating markets and business; supporting certain politicians; or making their members sign petitions on gay rights, 'Native Indian' rights; or abortion 'rights'.

Once the Church leaves the Book of Matthew and strays into social commentary it becomes not only irrelevant, but dangerous.

Baldwin summarizes the Church's problem nicely, “How is it that Christians do not seem to recognize the devilish doctrines of socialism, fascism, elitism, or globalism for what they are? How can they be so easily manipulated? How is it that these corrupt politicians--who vote to kill unborn babies, merge America into internationalist and global entities, strip Americans of their God-given natural right of self defense, promote homosexual marriage, or allow America to lose its identity, culture, and heritage through unbridled illegal immigration--remain in "good standing" with any number of supposed "Christian" churches ?”

How indeed. The Church long ago ceased being a force for civilization. It has instead become part of the Marxist-globalist cabal, supporting irrational ideas and unfettered statism. The Church needs to decouple itself from the theories of communalist-globalist worship. If the Church does not get back to basics, it will perish – and in its current form that would not be a bad outcome.
