 Culture is King. Arab Moslem culture will never allow for the creation of a 'modern' nation state which guarantees plurality, freedom of speech, freedom of religious worship, and which expunges the barbarity of Sharia and exchanges the Bronze Age for a Constitutional-Republican modern age. The media will chatter incessantly about 'Arab springs', when in fact over the long term, we can view a Moslem-Islamic winter. Egypt and the Near East, under control or pressure from Western states in the 19^th and 20^th centuries were far less atavistic then, and less suffused with Moslem supremacism; than they are now. The longer term trend within the Muddled Yeast, or its longue durée, is decidedly back to the Iron and Bronze ages.

One can safely assume the following in Egypt one year hence:

-Sharia law or parts of it will be implemented.

-The Moslem Brotherhood, by far the most popular 'party', will have a share of governance.

-Copts will be killed, marginalized and exiled.

-Pronouncements against Jews and Israel will still be uttered by the Egyptian media and elite.

-Christian assets, houses, churches, and symbols of faith will still be destroyed.

The Koran is clear – Christians must be either converted or liquidated, a fact which escapes the big-brains of the world.

You can change the leadership personalities, enforce a military governance, issue declarations and rewrite Constitutions. You cannot change the base fact that the failure of Arab and Moslem culture is the root, core and nexus of Egypt's moral, intellectual, financial and existential bankruptcy. Until the culture changes, nothing else will be changed.

And whither Marxist-Obamunist Barack ? He and his government have earnestly supported the Moslem Brotherhood and Sharia since 2009. Will the US send in troops to restore an MB government ? Will it cut off aid to Egypt – some $2 billion a year – unless the MB is given at least a share of power ? Obamunist Barry has no concerns for Christian Copts of course. He is profoundly anxious however, that Islam succeeds in Syria, in Egypt, in Libya, in Tunisia.... This does not mean that he is a Moslem, but he certainly is an enabler of both Christian murders and persecution by Moslems, and of barbaric Sharia Law and Moslem theocratic governance.
